Technological Advancements Argument Essay
The learning environment and a bunch of other factors around an individual can greatly influence the way we all learn. One of these factors could stem from cultural background, or family values and upbringing. Also the current technological advancements have a huge impact on how today’s generation approach the student learning experience. While it may be a debatable topic to many, race and ethnicity also have an effect on educational endeavors for each and every individual. Positive or negative, there is no denying that these elements forge the minds of our future generations and being able to understand how each of these specific factors contribute to a person’s academic progression could hold the answer on how we can modify, or make adjustments to benefit from evolutional changes in society and technological breakthroughs. The recent breakthroughs in modern technology has been so rapid that even today’s generation who are highly dependent on gadgets and gizmos are overwhelmed with the options. Laptop computers no longer bear the weight and mobility problems that its predecessors used to have. Tablets are in abundance that it may even render laptops or netbooks obsolete. It’s just a matter of how you approach it. Mom always had this profound sense of wisdom that comes with age, and my mother is a real tough woman to boot. Being raised in the rough streets of Caloocan City where the Filipino version of the mafia and street gangsters used to roam the streets, this contributed to her developing her no-nonsense demeanor and aggressive personality.
