With the formation of these electric assistants, humans have created multitudinous artifacts to help both themselves and the planet they inhabit, as well as advance farther into the realm of understanding how the commodities here work. In recent years, humans have become preoccupied by gadgets like cell phones, televisions, and computers. This mild preoccupation has now turned into a complete obsession with constantly having a screen to stare at for hours. According to recent studies, technology usage causes a tendency to procrastinate, a shorter attention span, and a lower quality sleep. For example, a student may begin a homework assignment, but receives a text message so instead of finishing the assignment the student will focus on their cellphone.
