Theodore Roosevelt Jr. (Teddie), was born on October 27, 1858 in New York City. Teddie Roosevelt was born to Theodore or Thee Roosevelt Sr. and Martha Bulloch. Teddie had an older sister Anna, a younger brother Elliott, and a younger sister Corinne. His family owned a successful plate glass import business. Also, his father was working for President Lincoln to improve the condition of the union soldiers and their families. Teddie had a passion for the less fortunate.
