Case Application 1: TEAM FUN!

1. Is TEAM FUN affected by globalization? If so how?
Yes the globalization affected on TEAM FUN, which is clearing when Kenny and Norton decide to diversify their product lines and added more location to their customer, because of the rapid growth of TEAM FUN.
2. What other major workforce issues are evident in this case?
There are two main workforce it's all related to the employees and their demands, the first issues is make a corner of the lunchroom into a babysitting place to help employees increase their output. 1. Which of the functional HR processes can be identified in Tony’s area?
In TONY’s area following HR functions are identified:
1. Training and development.
2. Motivation.
3. Staffing.
In this case Tony is busy with insurance paper and retirement of employees. He also arranged picnic for employees to talk about the work issues. Tony send Joe and Eric to a supervisor’s school for work scheduling, job team assignments, and project management. Also hire a fulltime secretary.
2. Identify the environmental influences important to TEAM FUN!
In this case we see a friendly environment exists among the employees of the TEAM FUN. They are watching a CROSSKATES video about cross-country roller skates in the LOUGN since. They arranged picnics. Through picnics they exchanged their opinion about the working issues. So the healthy and favorable environment has a deep impact over the employees. So organization must ensure a safe and healthy environment.

4. Does Tony need to do anything else to set up a strategic HR function?
Strategic HRM provides a clear connection between the organization’s goals and the activities of employees. So Tony doesn't needs to do
