These days, Teen’s lyf revolve around Love, Cigarette, alcohol . Whether this love is Love or it is liking/infatuation/crush/lust or anything, at the end it leads to smoking, alcohol and drugs. Wondering how?? You’ll get all your answers below.

As we all know, teenagers are really immature when it comes to relationships, especially guys (old saying-girls grow up sooner than boys). They call it ‘love’, even if they only like spending time with the opposite sex, they call it ‘love’, if they like the person’s behavior towards them, they call it ‘love’, if they are attracted to their appearance, they call it ‘love’, just because they like some of their qualities, but this is not love. Just because two people like spending time with each other or like each other’s qualities, it does not imply that they are in love. Love is beyond all these materialistic things. It is love when someone asks you ‘why do you love your partner’ and your reply is ‘I don’t know’ and you keep thinking about the answer but get nothing. It is because true love needs no reason, it just happens.

Sometimes you tend to fall for a person who is totally opposite to what you have dreamt of, who ‘according to the world’ is wrong for you, who does not fulfill the list of your ‘perfect mate’ and in spite of having ‘no reason’ to love him/her, you do.

Most of the teenagers don’t understand love. They get into relationships, one of the two get somewhat serious, and the other one does not. He/she might be playing around or they might lately realize that they are not in love, it was just infatuation, leading to break offs. There can be more reasons for breaking up:Either of them starts feeling for a third person.Either of them gets irritated with the other.Either of them starts realizing that their career is going nowhere. Either of

Teenage drug abuse is one of the largest problems in society today and the problem grows and larger every year. Drugs are a pervasive force in our culture today. To expect kids not to be influenced by the culture of their time is as “unrealistic as believing in the tooth fairy,” (Jauman 140). Teens may feel pressured by their friends to try drugs, they may have easy access to drugs, they may use drugs to rebel against their family or society, or they may take an illegal drug because they are curious about it or the pleasure that it gives…

Teen romance is like a minefield – very few make it through completely unscathed, and the path is often strewn with the shrapnel of countless broken hearts. According to common wisdom, the reason behind all this affliction is because teenagers are capricious creatures who lack the maturity to resolve relationship issues. However, maturity is not the only key factor playing into why teen couples just are not staying together happily. Social media pressures young people to be in constant contact with one another, meaning they can constantly monitor the other. Maturity and social media are large factors in the way many relationships play out nowadays, but the same people writing articles about the topic are the ones forgetting the most important factor; communication. Building an emotional relationship and being able to relate and interact with your partner is the foundation to a truly satisfying and healthy relationship.…

Being a teenager and raising a teenager are individually, and collectively, enormous challenges. For many teens, illicit substance use and abuse become part of the landscape of their teenage years. Although most adolescents who use drugs do not progress to become drug abusers, or drug addicts in adulthood, drug use in adolescence is a very risky proposition. Even small degrees of substance abuse (for example, alcohol, marijuana, and inhalants) can have negative consequences. Typically, school and relationships, notably family relationships, are among the life areas that are most influenced by drug use and abuse.…

In an effort to set guidelines for acceptable teenage behavior, parents and other adults in authority often make rules that restrict the freedoms of the individual. How much freedom and responsibility should teenagers have in making their own decisions should be based on their level of maturity? When I was younger, I put doing my homework off until the last possible moment. This resulted in my parents taking away TV privileges until my homework was done. My staying out past my curfew resulted in my driving rights being taken away until I proved I could follow the rules. Failure to complete my chores resulted in my being restricted from playing video games, or going to a friend’s house. I soon learned that I must follow the rules to enjoy the freedom to do what I wanted to do. I went through a lot of trial and error situations to learn this lesson.…

In this day in age I have experienced and observed a lot of young adolescent promiscuity among my peers and family members of the same age group and generation. I believe that as time goes on our generation is getting more comfortable with their sexuality and are not as afraid of the risks and consequences of sexual acts. I have also came to realization that technology has a big input in this day in age on how much we see this kind of behavior; kids, teens and emerging adults rely on social networks, their cellphones, computers etc. to express who they are as a person and also to connect to others. The main focus of my paper is to really go into depth of what adolescent promiscuity is, what is the expected time to be promiscuous, when is it too early, and if it is too early then what causes these adolescents to become promiscuous at that age.…

So can we blame teen’s brains for some of their behaviours? Teenage life is a difficult stage where the youth, out of curiosity, tends to test their limits to seek new sorts of experiences. The most common things they wish to experience is teen sex, consumption of drugs and alcohol. But before trying to understand why is drug abuse such an appealing source among the youth, it is important to know what is substance abuse itself. “Substance Abuse” , also commonly known as “Drug Abuse”, is a patterned use of a substance such as -drugs, in which the user consumes the substance in amounts or with methods neither approved nor supervised by medical professionals. It refers to the harmful use of psychoactive substances including alcohol and illicit drugs. People who are stressed are usually more receptive to drugs. The cause could also be genetic; if a pregnant lady is consuming a lot of drugs, her offspring would develop this habit and get addicted by birth. Externally, if some member in the family is taking drugs or is alcoholic, one might get influenced. The root cause of why it is more prevalent in teenagers is curiosity and media. Media has a major influence. Due to the change in school of thoughts and more liberty to express our ideas, media has showed us the in-depth details of crime and substance abuse. Many movies, shows and programmes portray young teenagers consuming drugs and the joy they are getting out of it. In addition, peer pressure also creates an imprint in the person’s mind and influences him/her to try it in any way. It is a strong factor as it is influencing the victim directly.
