VERONA – Two lovers from rival families with a long lasting feud, young Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet were found dead in the Capulet tomb, Thursday night. It is believed that once word of the death of daughter Capulet, young Montague set forth to discover the truth despite being banished from Verona.
Tension has always been present between the families of Montague and Capulet, the squabble between them older than any of the current household members.
It is not uncommon to see these families disrupt the streets in Verona with their endless arguments and constant swords being thrashed around in the air.
Nurse of Capulet household reveals that the couple were said to have met at Capulet’s masquerade ball, where they seemed to have fallen in love at first sight and shared their first kiss. Benvolio, cousin of young Montague, explains the events leading to the death of Tybalt, Capulet’s cousin, and Mercutio, friend of Romeo’s. “Tybalt challenged Romeo to a duel but refused as him and the Capulet were now related.
