INTRODUCTION: PepsiCo, Incorporated (NYSE:PEP) is a Fortune 500, American global corporation headquartered in Purchase, Harrison, New York, with interests in the manufacturing, marketing and distribution of grain-based snack foods, beverages, and other products. PepsiCo was formed in 1965 with the merger of the Pepsi-Cola Company and Frito-Lay, Inc. PepsiCo has since expanded from its namesake product Pepsi to a broader range of food and beverage brands, the largest of which include an acquisition of Tropicana in 1998 and a merger with Quaker Oats in 2001 - which added the Gatorade brand to its portfolio as well. Pepsi operate as producer in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Industry.Within North America, PepsiCo is ranked (by net revenue) as the largest food.

TYPE:
PepsiCo can be categorized as a multinational company (MNC) as it maintains significant operations in multiple countries but manages mainly from its base in their home country USA. Pepsi-Cola began selling its products internationally in 1934 with its operations in Canada. {Operations grew rapidly in the 1950’s. Key international markets include Argentina, Brazil, China, India, Mexico, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Thailand and the United Kingdom. PepsiCo Beverages International, also produces, sells and distributes Gatorade sports drinks as well as Tropicana and other juices internationally.}
Long term and short term goals:
