The essay that happened
Recently, I read the book called “Nation”, written by Terry Pratchett. It is talking about a boy named Mau, his village has been destroyed by a huge wave, and he was the only survivor. He met a trouser man Daphne, the only survivor of The Sweet Rudy, they came from different world with different languages, different rules. Since more and more survivors came, Nation became a small village. However, they need to face the biggest challenge, Raiders. The main character except Mau is Daphne. Since the ghost girl came to the island, she had many amazing experiences; she became a woman who has power instead of a doll like before the wave.
When Daphne arrived on the inland, she fired at Mau but the gunpowder was wet so she failed, but after few chapters she could kill Foxlip and Polegrave without guns.
