Thanksgiving Research Paper
Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful. Time to think about all the things you are thankful for. Thanksgiving is a time to be happy and be with your loved ones. I'm very thankful for my Aunt Allie, Basketball, and animals.
My Aunt Allie was very helpful this year. My mom got a new job this year as a full-time teacher and it was very hard to adjust to. My Aunt Allie came to the rescue. She picks us up from school two days a week and always has something for us to do! I'm very thankful for her, she lets us have sleepovers at her house and she teaches us new card games. She just taught us the game Nertz and it's so much fun! I love her very much and I know even when she is going through a hard time, she is there to help us.
I am very thankful

St. Patrick was a Roman missionary and bishop in Ireland. His full name was Magonius Sucatus Patricius. He was born in 387 AD. The dates of his life cannot be fixed with certainty but, on a widespread interpretation, he was active as a missionary in Ireland during the second half of the fifth century.Patrick was born into a religious family, but was an atheist early in his life. He was supposedly sixteen when he was captured by Irish pirates and taken to Ireland to be a slave who looked after the animals. It was during that time he became a devout Christian. He turned to God and wrote a confession that said "The love of God and his fear grew in me more and more, as did the faith, and my soul was rosed, so that, in a single day, I have said as many as a…

On St. Patrick’s Day I had the pleasure of volunteering in a first grade class at my former elementary school. Each time I go back to the school, it brings back memories that I have not thought of in many years. Elementary school seems like a lifetime ago for me. But, because I had so many good experiences there, I love being able to be a part of the memories that kids today will always have. For example, holidays were always some of the best memories of my time at Lanigan because the teachers always went to such great lengths to make it an enjoyable time for everyone. So, on St. Patrick’s Day naturally almost every kid was wearing green. Some had on green and gold beads, some had green glasses, and one girl even had a pouch of “gold coins”.…

What is the first thing that goes though your mind when you hear the words Memorial Day? What does it mean to you? What symbolization does it hold in you? Ladies and gentlemen, sadly enough, the true meaning of Memorial Day has been seemingly lost by the majority of Americans today. Many confuse this day for Veterans Day or even Armed Forces Day. Although it is highly appropriate to honor all our veterans, living and dead, and to recognize their immeasurable contributions to our country, this is not the true meaning of Memorial Day. The beginning of the 100 days of Summer…a BBQ? Or did you think of a mother…
