Thanksgiving Research Paper
Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful. Time to think about all the things you are thankful for. Thanksgiving is a time to be happy and be with your loved ones. I'm very thankful for my Aunt Allie, Basketball, and animals.
My Aunt Allie was very helpful this year. My mom got a new job this year as a full-time teacher and it was very hard to adjust to. My Aunt Allie came to the rescue. She picks us up from school two days a week and always has something for us to do! I'm very thankful for her, she lets us have sleepovers at her house and she teaches us new card games. She just taught us the game Nertz and it's so much fun! I love her very much and I know even when she is going through a hard time, she is there to help us.
I am very thankful
for Basketball. Basketball is something I really enjoy. The real reason I picked Basketball was that I met Libby. Libby was someone I didn't like at all in basketball, and the truth was because she was good and she was just as tall as me even taller. I'm very thankful for this year's summer basketball camps because when I heard she was going to be there I was like, why? After a few weeks of basketball, we clicked. She is my best friend. I'm very thankful for her because we share the same tall problems and she is another person to love and to be thankful for. I love animals so much! In fact, I have three, I have a dog, cat, and a guinea pig. Animals can help with so much! My mom works with special needs kids and they use dogs to help them and the dog helps them very much. They are the most lovable things you can get. You could tell them anything you want to and they won't tell anyone. My animals at home help me, when I'm sad or hurt I can tell them even though they can't really understand. They are just like having a brother or sister to talk to, but instead, they don't talk back.
I am very thankful for all of these things. I am very blessed to have a family to love me. I am thankful for friends to help me. Lastly, I am so glad to have animals that are there when I need them.
