There was just the right of each so you cannot decide what the main topic was, but if I had to choose, it would be comedy. What kept this book interesting was that whenever you though he would stop getting beat up, something big happens and it starts all over again. There were so many ups and downs and that is what makes this book keep you up all night. I loved this book because it wasn’t just serious, it also made you laugh. Whenever there was a grim part, Sherman Alexie would throw in a joke.
