That seems simple enough . . . so then, can every title in the library be considered a slice of life story? No, that’s giving tranche de vie too broad a definition. Slice of life stories tend to be realistically related to life. A story written in this style has to be able to relate to real life. However, slice of life stories can contain supernatural elements as long as they feel real or surreal.
