What is the idea of the “American Dream” to most it would be having the perfect life the perfect everything. The whole idea of an “American Dream” is all that Gatsby ever wanted; in the book The Great Gatsby written by F. Scott Fitzgerald. The thought of having a prefect house ,prefect wife, and great wealth are Gatsby idea of said “American Dream”.
