The perfect wife in this case would be Daisy. Daisy is Gatsby's one true love. But because he was poor when he was younger it could never be. But know that he as money he tries to go after Daisy. He gets Nick to set up a “tea party” at his house and invites Daisy to tea “I called up Daisy from the office the next morning,and invited her to come to tea”(83). Everything seemed to be going well.
