When we were younger it's very likely that your parents taught you manners like don't chew with your mouth open.
We have stepped away from being our animal-like selves. We don't kill someone if they come and take our pencil or something like that. Instead we learned to communicate and trust each other to not kill us. For example, when I walk down the street the I trust the
people walking past me to not bash my head on a fire hydrant. Another example is we learned to respect ourselves and others. Respect includes privacy. Today we believe that a person deserves privacy. We consider communicating more civilized than fighting.
