The Brooklyn Nine had major conflict in it when Felix Schneider was cheering for the Knickerbockers and his idol Alexander Cartwright in 1845 when the unthinkable happens a fire breaks out across the city. The fire was called “The Great Manhattan Fire” of 1845. The volunteer fire brigade had to put it out before it spread and engulfed the whole city. Felix somehow gets entangled in it and gets more then he bargained for, Felix legs were badly burned in the fire. A union soldier Louis Schneider is taking a break from the toils of the war by playing baseball when shots ring out and the heat of battle ensues. When Louis is looking for his baseball he lost he makes a friends with someone who you wouldn’t think would be a baseball fan. Arnold Schneider gets involved in a vaudeville show showing one of his baseball heroes, King Kelly. After the show, Arnold realized that even heroes aren’t always perfect.
