Romeo Montagues, is discussing his unreturned affection towards Rosaline with his cousin Benvolio. Meanwhile, Juliet Capulet’ hand has been offered to Paris, a man who her father has determined suitable enough for her. The nurse enters her room and tells her that Romeo has been banished from the land, and that she should move on and marry Paris. However, Juliet refuses, as she feels her heart belongs to Romeo.
Romeo manages to spend his wedding night with his wife, and when they are done consummating their love, they decide to arrange their next meet up. However, her father has decided to bring forward the date of the weddings, which makes Juliet come up with a plan that will stop her from marrying Paris.
She prepares a plan with Friar Lawrence, to drink poison that will make it seem as if she’s dead the night before her wedding and to meet up with Romeo in Mantua. However, Romeo never receives notice of the plan, and he received the news that his love has died like everyone else did.
Romeo decides it is preferable to die than to live without his loved one, so he plans to suicide next to her tomb. He buys enough poison to commit the previously mentioned plan, however, he finds his was into her death place blocked by Paris. Romeo kills him in a dual and takes the poison in top of Juliet’s body.
