The second cause of Hamlet’s tragedy would be his mother Gertrude. The third tragedy is when get Rosencrantz and Guildenstern was killed. When Hamlet changes the original letter to get Rosencrantz and Guildenstern killed is when Hamlet evil side comes into play. “Why, even in that was heaven ordinant. Addition matters, when Polonius tries to spy on Hamlet and his mother, thus contributes to Hamlet tragedy. Hamlet accidently kills him when he realizes someone was behind the curtain. “How now, a rat? Dead for a ducat, dead! (Stabs his sword trough the arras and kills Polonius)” (Hamlet, 3.4, 24-27) If Hamlet would not noticed Polonius, He would not have acted in anger and Polonius would not have died.
