Louisville is the 32nd largest city is Colorado. It was originally a mining community, and it was incorporated in 1882. It is a white-collar jobs city, and more than 70 percent of the residents have a bachelor's degree. The medium-sized city has five neighborhoods, and it has some of the most expensive homes in Colorado. In 2013, the population was 19,588. Nearly 60 percent of the residents are married, and 41 percent of the residents have children. Lousiville has great schools for elementary, middle school and high school students. Coal Creek Elementary School has 431 student and 24 teachers.
Louisville Middle School has 631 students and 33 teachers. Monarch High School has 1,635 students and 75 students. After high school, many of the residents attend the Univerity of Colorado. The locals also attend Red Rocks Community College.

Cinebarre has inexpensive movie tickets, and the theater has great food. Coal Creek Golf Course is usually busy on Sundays. The golf course has great food. Gravity Brewing has excellent beers. You can bring your dog to the Davidson Mesa Loop Trail. The trail is beautiful at sunrise and sunset. You will also have a great view of the mountains. Louisville Farmers Market has fresh produce and great music on Saturday mornings. Some of the vendors will give you free samples. The market is usually crowded in the afternoons. The Louisville Historical Museum has photographs and mining memorabilia. The city also has a historic downtown.
