The body of the Colombian tiple is resting opposite to your stomach. The neck is what you hold tightly with your left or right hand, therefore, you can press the strings onto to the fingerboards when playing. The frets are the small vertical metal wires on the fingerboards. They enable the strings to be “shortened” in a certain way. It happens by pressing the string onto the fret to have a certain note. The head is where the tuners and the strings are. The tuners are the item that you turn to tune the tiple. The bridge is the parts that supports the string of the tiple as they cross over the body. The function is when the component transfers the vibrations of the strings into the body of the tiple which in case of mostly instruments in the guitar family, it amplifies them.
