The Communist Manifesto By Karl Marx: An Analysis
The Communist Manifesto looks at primarily capitalism and its faults. It looks at how with capitalism there are oppressed peoples and oppressors and that class struggle in general. Marx and Engels also believed that history is just a continual series of class struggles. They, of course, conclude the book with their prediction that communism will overtake capitalism.
If Marx and Engels could see how communism has worked so far what would they say?
In the article by Michael Goldman, he looks at the World Bank. He talks about it’s origin and how it has changed. Additionally, he looks at how it has been somewhat used as a tool of colonialism. Ultimately though, he believes that it has helped the world.
