Nowadays there isn`t much controversy of opinion concerning the problem of high cost of living in Moscow. Most people regardless of their social status usually complain about high price level in the city of their residence. As to me, I can`t really say that I look upon this problem with a different eye. In fact, I`m being very emotional over this topic, because sure enough there is too much to complain about. I love and respect my country, especially my hometown, but I also care about its future and its citizens ` lives, therefore I will make a brief run through main objects of people`s «financial dissapointment» and personally mine too.
Firstly, an encounter with prices for property in Moscow may be quite frustrating, not only for people of middle class, but for extraordinary rich people. The average price for a 2-room flat 30 minutes away from the centre of the city starts at $100 000. Young people usually lay thir hopes on distant relatives, grandmas and grampas, so that after their death they could come into a fortune. There is no other way to obtain a nice place for living, which is really disappointing, because youth is in great natural necessity of making their own nest. I would assume, that it has become preferable not to buy a house or a flat, but to rent it, because no honest salary can let one buy property without saving up, taking out mortgages and loans and not getting into debt. If only the situation on real estate market would change sides and would be more understanding and loyal towards their potential customers!
Secondly, I would like to make a short study on prices for food products and drinks , as these make all the difference for both: the privileged and underprivileged people.
