One con fracking has is how much water it uses, each job uses 1 to 8 million gallons of water. One fracking job in Michigan used over 35 million gallons of water.Eventually freshwater sources will dry up as well as rivers and creeks. It's crazy how much water is used during fracking. When using fracking it fractures the earth so the fracking water can run throw and bring the resources out. Another con is what they put in the solution. The hazardous solution can contain Benzene (a carcinogen) which has lead to cancer. It also contains Hydrogen sulfide. Hydrogen sulfide can affect the brain and upper-respiratory system. Obviously there is a lot of hidden information about what the oil companies are putting in the solution because if they add things like Benzene or Hydrogen sulfide why wouldn't they add other chemicals that are hazardous if they don't have
