Rosalind Franklin was a big factor to the discovery of what we know today about DNA. She found the structure and other scientist stole her finding for their benefits without her consent. With the information she found they were able to build a 3D structure of DNA and later on this would lead to many other discoveries for science. Thanks to her, we wouldn't be where we are now in society without Rosalind Franklin's discovery. Yes you can give the others credit but if it wouldn't have been for her early death. She would've found more about the DNA. Rosalind Franklin had a vision of finding more information about DNA. Which type of DNA will create the best picture to find the structure of DNA? The Independent variables in Rosalind Franklins experiment is the DNA sample used in the experiment. The DNA sample used is a very important part of this experiment because with out the right type or the same type of sample this could have completely changed the finding and made this experiment in accurate and its findings false. The Dependent variables of Rosalind Franklins experiment is hydration of DNA. With hydration this effects DNA in a variety of different ways. DNA when becoming dehydrated it switches to the A form but if it's hydrated then the DNA becomes the B …show more content…
X-Ray diffraction is a technique that uses x-rays beams that shoots out through the the crystallized atom and causes the beam of X-Ray to diffract in a pattern based on their crystal structure. After the beams diffract off the crystallized structure then it makes its drawing on a piece of foil. When Rosalind Franklin found out that there were a type 'A' and a type 'B' DNA she thought that the type 'A' DNA was going to show better because it was dry but she guessed wrong. Actually the type 'B' DNA showed more in the X-Ray diffraction. The photo was acquired after hundred hours of X-Ray exposure from a machine Rosalind Franklin herself had made. Then a stunning discovery happened after those hundred
