In the short story, Scrooge called his nephew an idiot, but in the dvd he didn’t. They never really talked about Marley in the dvd that much, but in the short story they did a lot. One of the differences in chapter two are in the short story it said that Scrooge sobbed, but in the dvd he didn’t sob. Some of the differences in in chapter five are in the dvd the gentlemen who came with the boy did not say “Lord Bless you.” In the dvd Scrooge didn’t go to the church after the gentlemen left. Scrooge didn’t say “Is you master at home” in the dvd.
The dvd affects the mood because, of the lighting, angles, facial expressions, and the sounds. The lighting affects the mood of the dvd by showing how scary it looks in the dvd. The angles affects the mood of the dvd by showing like a close up of Scrooge’s face when he is angry. The facial expressions affect the mood of the dvd by showing how angry Scrooge was and when you read a book you can’t visualize it. The sounds affect the mood of the dvd by showing how scary it sounds.
I have always found the dvd better than the short story. The noises, lighting, facial expressions of the people, and the angles. The dvd shows more facial expressions than the short story.
