The Effect Of The NBA Lockout On The Economy
The National Basketball Association employs more than 10,000 people. Workers in the NBA get a lot of money. Main NBA events are not as much as all-star games. Employees that control the suite section in the NBA gets a lot of money as well.

The NBA affects the economy mainly because if the game is lost in lockout the cities lose a big amount of money. Without NBA games to obsess over, people will actually do their jobs. Namely, thousands of arena employees will be out of work, and business that have long existed as satellites to NBA arenas and teams will suffer.
