Almost all Americans would agree that basketball and football is more popular than lacrosse. Also they would agree that lacrosse players earn less than the traditional sports players. Those types of people are correct, lacrosse players earn significant different wages than NFL or NBA athletes, but what exactly are the these differences.

Probably not, most likely because you do not follow professional lacrosse and you know more NBA teams than lacrosse positions. Being that Americans do not follow lacrosse we now understand the reason why these players get paid so little. Some
might argue that it is the organizations fault for not promoting their league and while that is a possibility it also comes down to spectator’s interest. Even though at the moment people are not interested in lacrosse, hopefully that will change and with that player’s salaries would also increase.
