WHAT WILL OUR LIFE BE WITHOUT SOCIAL NETWORKS
Nowadays, our life has been more and more improved. Therefore, Information Technology is also developed and gives us thousands of advances. One of the most important of those advances must be the Internet which brings our life numerous of advantages. Thanks to the Internet, we can get lots of information; it enables people from different country to share information with each other without travelling. This development created many social networks such as Facebook, YouTube and Zalo, etc which is very popular and important in our society. However, recently many people said that YouTube, Facebook, and Zalo do more harm than good. Do you think so? For me, I am not fully in the support of the above idea. I think social network is good for teenagers but it also harms too.
In fact, we can’t deny that they are useful for our life. When social network appeared, it completely changed the lives of people. Instead of using the telephone to communicate with each other, now we only need to chat online on Facebook, Zalo …without wasting a lot of money for messages. Moreover, we can get various necessary information for our works and our lives. Every morning, we can read newspaper online without waste of money. Besides, Instead of taking a lot of time for selling and buying things, we can use the social networks to trade online. Furthermore, students can study well thanks to the educational websites from Facebook. In addition, everybody can easily share information each other on Zalo or Facebook.
However, everyone can realize that social networks also harm us, especially the teenagers. Firstly, Facebook and zalo make us less social because instead of caring people and the life around us, we waste lots of time for them. Moreover, many people may be sick, headache, tired and so on because of sitting too long on the computer. Next, teenagers who are obsessed by social networks often go online with

In order to identify the adverse effects that according to researchers, online social networking sites have, I have compiled some specific questions that will be addressed in the research that I will conduct and will guide me to reach to a solid conclusion. These questions include, (1) what is the relationship that teenagers have created with the social networking sites? (2) What is the impact of social networking sites on the social life of human beings? (3) The extent to which social networking sites can be dangerous or harmful. These questions are supposed to be examined in the research paper in order to derive a meaning to it and to evaluate the importance the topic has. However, the research has been conducted in the passage of two weeks and the bibliography is comprised of at least six references that completely belong to journal articles.…

Now when it comes to social networks being healthy and largely harmless I do not agree. Social networking sites can have some health risk as well as harm, it can cause stress, weight problems, cyberbullying and identity theft. There has been times when my nieces come home from school they go right to the computer instead of doing homework or they say they don 't have any just so they can get on the computer to get on these different sites like facebook. They will sit in front of the computer from the time they get in the house until its time to go to bed, and when my sister calls there names they don 't answer its like everything around them stops but the…

Another reason that social networking is bad is because the Internet is like a giant black hole. Many teens and college students don't realize that when they post something on the Internet, it stays there forever, even if you try to delete it. Social networks may look like a harmless way to connect with friends but there are many cases where it comes back to haunt them. The majority of high school and beginning college students…

Social networking sites can be harmful because they can affect the lives of many for the worse by allowing cyber bullying and leading to short attention spans. In today’s society one of the main ways we as humans communicate is through social networks. Social Networks such as Twitter or Facebook serve as a new and exciting way to interact over the internet and socialize. Now a day people rarely text or call due to new innovative ways such as the internet to connect with people all around the world. Individuals who are pro Social Networks would say that they promote positive ways to interact and meet new people. They would also say how exciting they are and how much of a thrill they can provide. However they fail to recognize the dangers that also come along with them. Due to all that is going on in the world anti-social network believers would say that social networks cause more harm than good due to the fact that they lead to harmful internet dating, are an excuse for people to spread rumors without being confronted, and are dangerous due to people oversharing information which can lead to unsafe internet stalkers or in person stalkers. I 100% agree with each of these three reasons, which is why I believe social Networks do cause more harm than good to society.…

This yearning for technology can be good or destructive for people. For example, some people “fear that sexual predators will befriend unsuspecting teenagers via Facebook or MySpace. Others point to the possibility of identity theft and believe that social networking sites might erode real-life friendships or cause obesity” (Introduction to Are Social Networking Sites Harmful?: At Issue). Some parents have created fake social media accounts and have tried to befriend their children to see if their children would add a complete stranger on social media.…

Many people in our society can relate. We wake up, check our phones. We go to school, check our phones. We go home, check our phones. And right before we go to bed, we check our phones. And for what? What are we constantly checking? Imagine logging out of social networking sites for one day. How would you feel? You would probably feel disconnected and want to log back on as soon as possible. This generation uses these websites to connect, to stay in the loop, and to become involved. However, people will take advantage of the use of these websites, and in return, the websites take over the majority of their life. The act of constantly wanting to be on a social website has become an obsessive, compulsive activity. Social networking creates a feeling of self-worth. It becomes a daily routine to always know others business, and if it is taken away, it becomes a craving. In this time, the current generation is very dependent and focused on social networking sites. Such social networking sites are Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. These social networking sites have sparked a debate on whether it is good or bad for the society. Social networking can put people at risk for cyber-bullying, false information, fake rumors, and online predators, along with other negative results. It causes two friends that are hanging out, or a mom and her daughter in the car together, to not even converse with each other. Their focus is what is on the phone or the computer. Not the person that they are with. The person thinks they are communicating by being on these social networking sites, when in reality they are being consumed by it. Social networking provides a false sense of identity online where people become limited and blocked from the real world, by a screen.…

The internet highway has become the main source of information for many people. It also has become a form of communication for young adults and teenagers due to social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. I personally know several young people who spend a great deal of time on these sites. I also believe this can lead to obsessive and addictive behavior if there is no balance. Most of the teens I know have very active social lives. I think these sites are only used as a form of communication or a way of expressing their thoughts and feelings. On the other hand, these sites can be detrimental in that they may lead to cyber bullying and arguments which sometimes lead to violence.…
