Looking over my wife's, Ida's, Gustav's and Otto's grave made me remember when my favourite son was alive... Adolf Hitler. I still can't believe he was the smallest of all my children. From April 20, 1889 to April 30 1945 I have loved all he has done. Now I acknowledge the doctor's decision who managed to persuade me to spare the young Austrian boy.
I remember knocking on the doctor's door in my dark-green uniform to see my beautiful wife and the future leader of Germany. Foolishly I assumed Adolf was going to die which would left my wife heartbroken and myself disappointed. But he sure proved me wrong!
Adolf fought in the First World War against the french in the German army. Even though he was Austrian my boy managed to convinced the military to recruit him. As a result he made myself and his country proud. Adolf was in the war for 4 years, and won 2 iron crosses during his time in the war. Yet our country lost and we were hit with the Great Depression.
Germany started to print more money which reduced the value of money and we even had to eat grass to survive. But my brilliant son saved us all. World War 2. This war was to expand Germany for all the unfair treatment us citizens received during the Great Depression. Sadly my faithful wife Klara moved on before all of this conflict started but I know she would agree with me that our son would make Germany great again. Adolf conquered Poland, Denmark, Norway and France. If my son had any flaw he was too ambitious so when he tried to invade Russia he lost. The western armies were pushing hard and began to advance on Germany. Adolf did the honourable thing and committed suicide with his wife Eva Braun to stop the enemy from imprisoning
