Seven years in isolation? I grew rather inquisitive as I read the book “The Fermat’s Last Theorem” by Simon Singh. ‘Sagely’, I thought, as I kept learning more about Professor Andrew Wiles through the course of the book. To spend time solving a believably unsolvable riddle in Mathematics is penance. He must have tormented himself to add a diamond to the mine or mountain of knowledge; but possibly the ecstasy at the end put all that at naught. That and the thought ignited in me, that burgeoning zeal. I went on reading other books and magazines that fueled the passion for excellence through innovation and hosted a hungry and foolish soul in me.
It was this hunger for knowledge and zeal to excel that helped me consistently be among the toppers

Intrigue and awe gripped me when I read about the research going on in computational nanoelectronics and emerging devices lab under the guidance of Dr. Gengchiau Liang on nanoFETs and by Dr. Kah-Wee Ang on 2D layered semiconductors. I am keenly interested in being a part of the research undertaken by either of them.
