The Occipital Lobe is important to being able to correctly understand what are our own eyes are seeing. This part of the brain makes sense of visual information so that we are able to understand it. If our occipital lobe were to be damaged, we would not be able to understand visual signals. This would result in the brain being in a state of major confusion. The Cerebrum is the largest part of the human brain. This part of the human brain can be associated with more advanced brain functions such as thinking and physically moving. This part of the brain is divided into four sections. These four sections are called ‘lobes’. The four lobes are called the frontal lobe, parietal lobe, temporal lobe, and the occipital lobe. The Sensory area of the brain is responsible for processing sensory information such as smell, taste, vision, sound, and touch. Each sensory area receives information from organs. Information is passed onto areas of the brain to be analysed and acted
