Introduction
This project is based on The Five Pillars and it aims to portray the usage and the importance of the Five Pillars in Islam. This project gives the different aspects of each pillar and the importance of each. It aims to help the reader understand the foundation on which Islam is built. It will also give a direct understanding of each.
Objectives
The objectives of this project are listed below:
To describe each pillar and get a keen understanding of each.
To help the reader gain a wider reach on the religion
To find the importance of these to Muslims
And to gain the readers opinion on The Five Pillars of Islam
The Shahadah
The Shahada is a declaration of faith and trust that professes that there is only one God, Allah and that Muhammad is God 's messenger. The word shahadah is a noun stemming from the verb shahida meaning "he observed, witnessed, or testified". It is a statement normally recited in Arabic but in English states: There is no god but God and Muhammad is the messenger of God. It is essential to utter it to become a Muslim and to convert to Islam. It has no procedure but seven conditions for Muslims believe the shahadah worthless unless it is earnest these conditions are:
