In dividing the sections in categories with medical terminology, then nonprofessionals’ terms it helps couples understand the aspects properly within the medical world. The book gives knowledge for stressful sexual situations, which usually are corrected. It also allows couples to realize, they are not the only ones with such concerns. With God’s plan, married couples can have a non-selfish relationship, because of finding ways to satisfy each other. This in turn, will set the foundation for a happier communion within their marriage.
Although, sexual activity is important, all areas of marriage must be addressed to have a well- rounded partnership, according to Wheat & Wheat (Huff, 2012). Penner & Penner, (2003) are obvious about the relationship between couples sexual union and their affiliation with God in the first section of the book. However, it could be confusing to new Christians. Not knowing when and where to draw the line when it comes to their ideas of sexual activity and what is appropriate before the eyes of God. It could leave them still questioning what is correct. This also could leave them feeling as if they are sinning. It appears they did not write enough about wives being submissive to their husbands. More examples would have clarified this
