A fun tradition is to hit each other with garlic flowers during the many competitions, bonfires, fireworks, feasting, drinking port wine from the second city of Portugal called Porto because of its truly beautiful and known ports, street concerts, dancing and releasing colorful lights of flame-propelled balloons in the beautiful summer sky.
