The Hero's Nightmare-Original Writing

From the day Annabelle Owen was born, her mother loathed her, she had always desired to give birth to a boy, considering she already had four girls, a tragic outcome. Annabelle's mother cursed her, with abandonment in the village Clocktower and to dance for the rest of her torturous life. Little did Annabelle know, the village was dependent on her dancing or there would be no time, as dancing turned a gear with the rim of her skirt, and when she spins, it turns the gears of time. One day, Annabelle wanted to catch a green balloon floating outside of the Clocktower. However, she was not able to retrieve it from inside the building, so she wandered outside. Everything stopped; the whole village turned black and white and nothing moved, silence filled the air. Annabelle had to make a decision: sacrifice the rest of her life for the village, or remain in the outside world.
Although, Annabelle's life drastically changed when a curious man, Joshua, wandered up the Clocktower stairs and discovered Annabelle. "Hello, I am looking for a woman named Annabelle Owen, my older sister. Supposedly, our mother placed a curse on her, and no one has the power to defeat the curse other than her family members.
