The Hitchhiker Lucille Fletcher Analysis

The Hitchhiker is a radio play by Lucille Fletcher. It revolves around the main character, Ronald Adams who is going from Brooklyn, New York, to Los Angeles, California. As you get towards the end of the story, you’re filled with many questions. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to get all the exact answers, but you could come up with a strong theory. One diverse question would be: Who is the hitchhiker? Personally I believe the hitchhiker is death, because it leads him to the railroad tracks, visits Adams at every stop and tries to talk to him.
