The Human Growth Hormone and Its Effects on Our Bodies as We Age

In this paper, I will explain what the human growth hormone is; its effects on our bodies as we age. Also, show the benefits received by following a prescribed treatment plant from a qualified physician. The results are amazing, as you will see; this has prompted more research into the benefits of hormone replacement therapy as we age. What is Human growth hormone:HGH is a compound protein molecule of 191 amino acids linked in a specific sequence. It is secreted in pulses by the pituitary gland. These pulses differ between 10 and 30 per day and can be strengthened by exercise. For years, doctors have prescribed HGH therapy for children who needed a growth enhancement. HGH is essential for tissue repair, healing, muscle growth, bone strength, brain function, physical and mental health, energy, and metabolism. The genes forhuman growth hormone are limited to a small area in the region of chromosome17 and are closely related to human chorionic somatomammotropin (hCS), also known as placental(lactogen) genes. GH, human chorionic somatomammotropin (hCS), and prolactin (PRL) make up, a group of homologous hormones with growth-promoting and lactogenic activity.

Human Growth Hormone Breakdown:

Amino acids are biochemical building blocks. They form small chemical chains calledpolypeptides or peptides, which in turn develop structures called proteins with a molecular weight of about 22,000. The structure includes four helices essential for functional interaction with the GH receptor. GH is structurally and actually evolutionarily homologousBowerman 2prolactin and chorionic somatomammotropin. In spite of marked structural similarities among growth hormone from different species only human and primate, growth hormone is active in humans. GH is secreted into the blood by the somatotrope cells in the anterior pituitary, which produce growth hormone. The anterior pituitary produces and secretes several

As we age, a decrease in these hormones occurs. A common example of decreased estrogen occurring is menopause in older women. When your bones become weak the risk for osteoporosis is much higher.
