In the U.S alone, there are over one point five million nonprofit organizations. Nonprofit organizations, also known as charities, are set up to provide help and raise money for those in need. An example of a nationwide charity would be the Humane Society. The Humane Society impacts the lives of animals and humans all over the world, by protecting the from cruelty and mistreatment.
