The Imperative Role Of Ambition In Macbeth By William Shakespeare

Shakespeare’s illustrious tragedy, “Macbeth” has elucidated the imperative role of ambition in the transformation in the transformation of a pious and virtuous general into a paranoid, malicious murderer. Although ambition have its merits, it can also easily be besmirched into greed and envy which can lead even the most honourable men into the realms of damnation.
