What The Pair Started To Do Clyde was on parole in February 1932, he rejoined Bonnie, and continued their life of crime. By this time, they were suspected with numerous amounts of crimes. For example, Clyde was suspected to have killed two police officers and kidnapping a man and women in Louisiana. He released them near Waldo, Texas. Clyde also murdered a man in Hillsboro, Texas, committed robberies at Lufkin and Dallas Texas, murdered a sheriff and wounded another at Stringtown in Oklahoma, and many others. The list could go on and on.
After some time, they started traveling with a gunman, Raymond Hamilton. He left several months later and was replaced with William Daniel Jones in November of 1932. Marvin “Buck” Barrow, Clyde’s brother, was released from the Texas State Prison on March 23rd of 1933. He joined Clyde and brought his wife Blanche. The gang embarked on a series of robberies across the country. Furthermore, a shootout with police occurred in Iowa on July 1933. Marvin was fatally wounded and Blanche was captured. The couple managed to escaped the ambush. On December 21, 1933, they robbed a citizen at Shreveport, Louisiana. On January 1934, five prisoners, including Ray Hamilton, the couple’s first gunman, and others were set free from a prison in Waldo, Texas by Clyde and Bonnie. In addition, Henry Methvin escaped as well. Two guards were shot from this incident. On April 1st, 1934, the pair encountered two highway patrolmen near Grapevine, Texas. When they were getting out their guns, they were shot and killed. A few days later, they also wounded a constable (person holding a particular office, usually in criminal law enforcement) and a police
