The Importance of Media Nowadays
In my opinion, media has become an important thing some people can't live without. It has also become a part of their life. Each of us has watched TV at least one time in our lives. First of all, shows are interesting and exciting. You can find out a lot of imformation from the media. If you watch news, you'll know what happens in your city, your country, or abroad. Besides, you will find out some decisions taken by the Parliment or some adopted laws. Moreover, you can be up to date with everything happen and everyone knows that it's not in vain to find out more information. Why? Because you don't know how much it affects you.
Second of all, if you have a TV, it is impossible to get bored. There are a lot of shows which are worth being watched. The most important thing is to know what kind of shows to choose. Each of them has its charm but some of them are not to be watched because you waste your time .
But I've spoken only about the good parts. Some people argue that media has its own disadvantages. Well, I agree to them. Each of us has to use TV moderately. No one has to watch it every hour. You have to keep a balance between your daily activities. So. TV can be harmful for your eyes. You can get a sickness and you'll be worse and worse until you have to wear glasses.
To sum up, we have to say that media is one of the best achievments humans discovered. But, like I said, we don't have to spend all our time watching

Marshall McLuhan said, “All media exist to invest our lives with artificial perceptions and arbitrary values”. Yet the media is very important in how so many people get to know the world around them. For example, when the lower and middle class do not interact with the upper class, it is impossible for them to understand about the upper class. The only way most of the other classes understand the upper class is through media portrayal. Media is one of the biggest networks in the world at the present day. It has been the significant part of the human life. Everyone is directly involved in and spends so many of his or her waking hours with some form of the media. Media and television are somehow inseparable, even though there are a lot of mediums that can be used to send information, like radio, newspaper, and the latest the social media. Television set has become commonplace in homes, businesses and institutions, particularly as a vehicle for advertising, a source of entertainment, and news. Because media is too mainstream they are producing programs that feed the viewer’s mind on what they want and not on what they need. In some ways, media is manipulating the lives of people through what should they like or dislike. The new value that has been placed on media has had some benefits but it has also had some major disadvantages. Media is now becoming a source to base our morals, beliefs, vices and virtues. Gone are the days when families would go to churches or have discussions to find out the right and wrongs of life. People are now switching on their radios and listening to their favourite talkback station or tuning into A Current Affair to find a ground for their beliefs and morals. Our moral compasses are now being guided by somebody else’s agenda. This is becoming a very serious issue as media is becoming less objective and more subjective.…

A major issue now facing members of the public is television. Is it good or is it bad? Well television is in my opinion very good. For starters it is very cheap all you pay is the one off payment for the television and your TV licence every month. For the price you pay you receive a lot of information and entertainment for the whole family. Television keeps the children busy when you may want a bit of peace and quiet, whilst teaching them at the same time through educational programmes. Television also helps to develop the child's mind by showing them lots of different things and what not to do. Television provides lots of educational programmes for young people to learn and because there is picture people can get an interactive tour into whatever they are studying. It provides vital facts in all subjects such as, science, general knowledge and it even shows you how to make and do things you may not have been able to do before.…
