The Importance Of Reagan's Language And Literacy
According to my textbook and the developmental checklist, Reagan is within the developmental norm of an 18-month-old. All the domains observed and interpreted are on track with the ability and skills that Reagan should be able to do. Although Reagan Although Reagan is within the developmental norm, Reagan's language and literacy can be improved and strengthened as to help with the transition from the prelinguistic to the linguistic stage of language. Reagan is transitioning from the use of language within gestures to the dependence of word usage.
Helping to foster the growth of Reagan's language/literacy domain, as his language and literacy is going through a developmental spurt, is important as he transitions from relying on motions and gestures
