Romeo is very immature and like many other teenageers, does not thoroughly evaluate the situations in which he is involved. In Act III, Romeo kills Tybalt, Juliet's cousin, and is exiled from Verona, thus creating major problems in his marriage. Shakespeare illustrates these conflicts through the words of grieving Juliet, “'Tybalt is dead, and Romeo--banished;'/ That 'banished,' that one word 'banished,'/ Hath slain ten thousand Tybalts. Tybalt's death/ Was woe enough, if it had ended there” (III. ) As a result of his impulsive actions, Romeo endangers his and Juliet's relationship. Juliet is angry at him for murdering her cousin and for being exiled only hours after they were married, meaning they can never see each other again. Furthermore, while Romeo is exiled they can never marry another person and are forced to live a life of chastity. One piece of advice that I would give Romeo is to have more self-control. When he killed Tybalt, he did not think of the repercussions that could affect himself, his family, or his relationship with Juliet. Romeo created a lot of trouble for the couple which could have been avoided if he had not impulsively killed
