The Importance of Rules and Regulations in Regards to Discipline
The regulation of the behaviors of members in any military branch, involves rules and regulations that govern goal orientated and behavior inside and outside of the branch, which includes the soldierization process that happens in military training. Discipline is the process of training oneself in obedience, self control, and skill. The controlled, ordered behavior results from such training. Discipline is the basic of the entire universe. Without order and discipline, there would be utter chaos. People that have learned discipline have adapted to working with cooperation and unity within a team, platoon or unit. Discipline is obedience to rules formed by the society for the good of all. Discipline provides you with a solid foundation to build upon. Following rules has been something that each individual has been doing their entire lives, whether it be a small rule that their parents had provided for them, or even a law that they must follow in order to be accepted into a group or unit. Following daily rules has a lot to do with discipline in regards to discipline which is instructions or practices in teaching yourself or others to obey rules and/or regulations. Although some say that discipline can be taught, discipline also has a lot to do with personal intentions to do the right thing because you know that it is wrong. Discipline is a trait that each soldier or even just a regular civilian must have in order to conform to today's society. Rules are the foundation of society, if there were no rules or regulations, people could just go out and do whatever they want. It would be very difficult to maintain a large or even small group of people if there were not set standards to follow.
