The Importance Of Snowboarding
Snowboard advertisement
Bored in the winter? Probably have nothing to do not that summer and spring is over? Don’t sit inside all day. Go outside, go snowboarding. Snowboard is better than sitting inside all day and playing on your phone. While snowboard you can feel the rush of wind and get your blood pumping.
Before snowboard you would need a few things. First thing you would need for snowboarding would be a snowboard. The second thing you would need and this is not optional you need it, you need to have protective padding and goggles. It does not matter if you have been snowboard for a long time or new at it you need protective padding and goggles. Third thing you would need during any cold wintery season would be warm winter clothing.

About 2,500 miles east lies the cold and rainy city of Canton, Ohio. The majority of my childhood was spent inside the house as Ohio was not ideal for outdoor adventure. Although, after turning 6, I was introduced to snow skiing . It became an enjoyable hobby of mine for years. Skiing opened my eyes to the beauty of nature and the serenity it provided. I loved the smell of fresh air and the exhilarating feeling of gliding down the mountain. It is a very peaceful sport and provides a silence away from everyday life. Coincidentally, I learned of ski club in middle school where I could ski with several other students that enjoyed this exercise as well. I joined the club and looked forward to the weekly Sunday trips. It showed the importance…

It has to take incredible courage to process a challenge like losing a limb in war. Stories abound from young men and women who stepped on a mine, or were ambushed, and their vehicle blown-up. For some, the moment is frozen in time and they cannot shed it. For others, they don't remember anything before waking up in the hospital without all their parts. To take in that realization, and then go on to perform as a star athlete is to this author, unimaginable. The incredible strength and perseverance to go on with life and then for some, to further demonstrate their zeal for life in their high level of participation in sports, is mind blowing.…

    importance of sports

The importance of sports in the life of a young student is invaluable and goes much further than the basic answer that "it keeps kids off the streets." It does in fact keep kids off the streets, but it also instills lessons that are essential in the life of a student athlete. Sports play a pivotal role in the makeup of a young athlete, especially in the middle school to high school years where student athletes are much more mature and mentally developed. Where else can a young, impressionable youth learn values like discipline, responsibility, self confidence, sacrifice, and accountability? Television, which may be the most influential tool in the lives of young adults, does not show enough of these qualities, nor is it on the Internet, or radio. Rather it is up to the parents, teachers, sports teams, clubs, and after school programs to help mold, develop, and instill these qualities into the lives of student athletes. I believe in order for this to happen, school sports programs must have a few components in place. The first thing they need is a good core of coaches that understand the great responsibility that is placed upon their shoulders to help shape and prepare these student athletes not only in sports, but in their everyday lives. Yes, I did say coaches, because it is a responsibility that lies on the shoulders of more than one person and it is going to take more than one person to help lead these student athletes to success.…

    The Importance of Sport

On many levels is sport very important to each and every one of us for a various number of reasons. First of all sport and fitness is what helps us keep in shape and stay healthy which is key to living a long and happy life. There are many benefits to being fit; first of all you will have much better health, and a better body image which in turn may help your self-esteem. Another major importance to sport is that there are so many career opportunities in the athletic field such as: gym teacher, pro athlete, sports analysts, physiotherapist, personal trainer, and many more. Also sports can be used as a stress relief to just get away from it all and shoot some hoops or play pond hockey. From a personal level I have made many friends from playing rep hockey 4 times a week to pick up football on the weekends and many if not all of my friends I’ve met playing sports both Rep and High school. On that note there are both positive and negative attributes of playing for your school or rep team. For school you get to play with you group of friends and represent your school, although it may not be the highest level of competition it’s great fun and a lot better than doing nothing. With playing rep you get to diversify your friend group, hopefully play at a high level but it does consume your life with your sport not leaving much room for a job or school work. Whichever one you choose it doesn’t matter you’re getting out there and doing something your love to do. To finish up I hope to be involved in sports as long as I possibly can even though I am not competing at a high level right now I hope still be playing hockey with my friends in college and after that still playing with them in a beer league somewhere, and after that possibly coach my kids sports teams as much as I can and showing them the “tricks of the trade” and isn’t that what it’s all…
