She is Barbadian, born in Saint Michael, Barbados and was raised in Bridgetown. In order to make a living, she sold clothes with her father. She lived in a three-bedroom home and wasn’t that financially stable. In addition to her economic difficulties, Rihanna was negatively impacted by her father’s addiction to crack and alcohol.
