I’ve had Senioritis as long as I can remember I almost never show up to class and procrastinate until the last minute to finish all my work. Recently we had Thanksgiving break, knowing that I had this essay and other work to finish I worked on neither and binged watched Pretty Little Liars;l it is a tragic epidemic, it is infecting our youth and taking away their hope for their future
of our children! Unfortunately, there is no known cure for Senioritis besides nagging parents and attempt at graduation even then they cure is sometimes hopeless, their best bet is to make to graduation day and move on with their lives. Senioritis is overtaking my body and I know because it’s like cancer it continues to grow, like the list of absences I have or the late assignments as I get assigned more work the less I wanna attend school or even turn in my work every day it grows especially when I think about graduation.
Senioritis is rotting our halls and eating the mind’s of our youth my best advice is to tell the kids to get up off the couch and quit binge watching every season of Orange Is The New Black and get a job, make them pay for their things themselves they’ll begin to realize school is a stepping stone to their future and without the dedication and the grades they’re going to fall and what is waiting at the bottom is not a very pretty site it is a long and lonely path to failure, but it is never too late to turn around, step up, and change your life; I should probably be telling this to myself because I have a bad case of Senioritis as well.
