In my opinion, I believe it would be unethical and inhumane to further treatment. I have stood firmly on this idea in previous weeks. However, this is a unique case, because physicians are overriding the wishes of a family. Although, reading the case did not chance my position on the treatment being unethical, it did provoke me to consider the lasting effects of medical personnel that the family members would have. Distrust is an major issue in the physician-patient relationship; especially in minority groups. Thus, I believe, the medical personnel in Mrs.
