The Kite Runner Compare And Contrast Amir And Hassan
In "The Kite Runner" Amir and Hassan are two completely different people but are friends. Hassan is a Hazara which makes him of lower class than Amir. During the confrontation between Assef, Amir, and Hassan, Assef said " How can you call him your friend" (Khaled 41). He then went on saying how if Amir and his father didn't take in people like Hassan they would be rid of them.(Khaled 41) This questions Amir's and Hassan's friendship and how Amir only uses Hassan to his own benefit. While on the other hand Hassan cares and looks up to Amir. Another contrast of Amir and Hassan would be their faith and education. Amir is well educated and religious.
