The Knight Rode Fast Through The Woods
The knight rode fast through the woods on the outskirts of the battle. Spurring the horse viscously yelling at the horse to move faster hot and reeking from hours of riding the knight finally sees that a gap has opened in the woods straight into the battle looking at the slaughter the knights nerves kick in. He doesn’t know how to approach the situation before him the mission given to him he knows it well every detail but he still thinks to himself how will i get through this battle in one piece I need to make it to the castle. Everything in his body is telling him to turn and run but he knows he can’t do that he was assigned this task by the king himself. He was nearly successful until one man notices him riding through the crowd. The man uses a spear to take out the horses legs and makes the horse topple over the knight and the horse crashing into the ground. He stands up sword ready their swords collide sparks fly but the enemy wasn’t alone the knight was outnumbered 3 to 1 he takes out the first guy with a swift strike to the chest running straight through the gap he’s on foot now still trying to outrun his pursuers the castle wall mangled and broken from the days of …show more content…
While he has no backup he sticks to the alley ways and shadows slowly making his way to the tower the lady is supposably in. Meters from the door he starts to run when BAM!!!! The castle wall comes crashing down in front of him the debris nearly crushing him. He has to find a way around the rubble. The sound of the wall crashing made guards come running so the knight is now trapped castle guards behind him and a mountain of debris in front of him he thinks to himself “there is no way I can fight them off and I can’t climb over this mess I’m done for” when suddenly a group of his men flying through the hole in the wall charging at the castle guards. In the mist of the battle he runs down an alley around the rubble making it to the tower door he kicks it in and start’s moving up the stairs he makes it to the top only to realise the lady he was there to save is the kings daughter. Knowing this will get him eternal glory amongst the realms under the kings banner he quickly tells her to come with him they start moving down the stairs when they make it back out into the castle the battle now rages on in and out of the castle now. Two of his fellow soldiers notice who the kings daughter and come walking towards the knight clearly with the intention of taking the fame for themselves they corner the knight in the alley way and threaten him with his life if he

    At this point, the king of the Geats had died in battle, and in his place, Beowulf had ruled over the people successfully for fifty years. A thief breaks into the gold that the dragon had been protecting, and the dragon becomes furious and begins to attack the Geats.
