George Boole was a British mathematician, educator, philosopher and logician (Wikipedia, 2016). He worked in the fields of differentiation equations, and algebraic logic (Wikipedia, 2016). His development of “Boolean logic” paved path for the computer age (Titcomb, 2015). In 1855 Gorge Boole got married to Mary Everest a self-taught mathematician and a highly intelligent women (The Renaissance Mathematicus, 2012). One day when Boole was anxious to not miss the lecture that he conducted he walked three miles form his home to the university in the pouring rain and gave his lecture in those same wet clothes (Georgeboole.com, 2016). This sent him a bad fever and instantly infected his lungs. But Mary was a devoted disciple of Samuel Hahnemann. He formulated the principles of homeopathy and she believed in the principle “like cures like” that he developed (Pelletier, 2016). So to save her husband she decided to implement the same principle.
