The first Surah is a prayer which Allah has taught to all those who want to study His book. If you sincerely want to benefit from the Quran, you should offer this prayer to the Lord of the Universe. One should begin the study of the Quran with a prayer to Him for guidance.
The second Surah is an invitation to the divine guidance, which consists of stories and incidents. Many historical events have been cited from Muslim traditions to admonish and advise Jews that their own good lies in accepting the Guidance revealed to the Holy Prophet.
The fourth Surah helps to teach Muslims the ways that unite people and make them firm and strong. Family is the nucleus of the community. Above all, the importance of the highest moral character has been emphasized.
The tenth Surah deals with the invitation to the Message, admonition and warning.
The eleventh Surah talks about the invitation to the Message, admonition and warning, with the difference that the warning is sterner. The invitation claims to obey the messenger of Allah, discard shirk, and worship Allah and Allah alone.
The twelfth Surah indicated that the Revelation was revealed during the last stage of the Holy Prophet's residence at Mecca, when the Quraish were considering the question of killing or exiling or imprisoning him.
The 22nd Surah is addressed to: (1) The mushriks of Mecca, (2) the wavering Muslims, and (3) the True Believers. The wavering Muslims, who had embraced Islam but were not prepared to endure any hardship in its way, have been admonished. On the one hand, they are ready to believe in Allah and become His servants provided they are given peace and prosperity but, on the other, if they meet with afflictions and hardships in His Way, they discard your Allah and cease to remain His servant.
